FASANOC VOA Champions School Visitations

More than 100 children from four different schools have enjoyed various sessions on Olympic Values and social issues advocated by FASANOC's Voices of the Athlete's Champions.

The visitations by FASANOC's Champions included awareness on NCDs, Olympic Values and the Olympic Day run event on June 29th, 2018.

The awareness team of Team Fiji Football's Lavenia Yalovi and Kinisimere Ravai visited Suva Muslim Primary school, Nausori Special school, Krishna Vedic Primary school and Krishna Jarnadan Primary school last week.

"We were able to get some practical sport sessions with messages on Olympic Values and the Olympic Day Run which is one of the major reasons why we are having this Awareness visits," said Lavenia.

"We also brought along with us fun games, posters drawings and colouring and other things that will also be shown during the Olympic Day Run."

Lavenia said the awareness programme will continue at various Southern schools upon the approval of head teachers.

FASANOC VOA Programme hopes to target close to 30 schools before the 29th of June when the Olympic Day Run begins.
