Women Enjoy Walk and Talk

Saturday October 3rd, 2015

More than 300 people turned up at Thurston Botanical Gardens in Suva for this year’s FASANOC Women In Sports Walk and Talk event.

The event which started from 6.30am grew in numbers as people of all ages started to fill the carpark at the Thurston Gardens.

Children were also treated to some educational games and Sporting Federations Baseball and Football also turned up to make the day so much fun.

The event which was sponsored by the United States Embassy and Olympic Solidarity proved a success for those that turned up.

The event also included health checks a healthy breakfast and a Zumba session before the walk which proved very popular.

ANZ staff along with STOP Champions and FASANOC staff managed to handle the large numbers that turned up very well.

Also present at the event was His Excellency the President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
