Team Palau to RIO 2016 Announced at the President Office, ROP
The Palau National Olympic Committee presented to his excellency Tommy E. Remengesau, Jr. the final Athletes from Palau to the 2016 RIO Olympic Games.

Team, Ms.Frida Delmau, Secretary General Baklai Temengil joined the rest of Team Palau RIO 2016 at a brief presentation of the team and a photo opportunity
with President Remengesau. The Olympic Athletes from Palau are Ms. Marina Toribiong, who will participate in the Canoe individual event (sprint),
Dilrengulbai Misech, 50m Freestyle Swim, Mr. Shawn Dingilius – 50m Freestyle Swim, Mr. Florian Temengil – Wrestling and Rodman Teltull in the 100m sprint
Athletics. Two of the athletes – Rodman and Florian are currently training outside of Palau and will meet the Team in RIO early August. Team Coaches are
Billy Brown for Swimming, Peoria Koshiba - Athletics, Debbie Toribiong for Canoe and Coach Ko for Wrestling. The Opening of the games is August 5th and
conclude on August 21st. Team Palau RIO 2016 will depart Palau on 26th of July and return home after the closing of the games. For more information
