Sam Reynolds Signs With the SEABL Eagles

Around the Diamond Valley Basketball Community, the surname Reynolds is a household name. So, it is only fitting that the DVBA are thrilled to announce the signing of long time Eagle Sam Reynolds for the 2018 SEABL men’s season.

Well known in the Big V landscape as a hardnosed defender with the ability to change the tempo of a game with hustle and grunt, Reynolds will take the next step into the SEABL competition in 2018. Alongside fellow SEABL signing, and brother Matt, Sam will look to continue his form from last season where he averaged 8.1 points per game at 44%, 3.95 rebounds per game and 2.62 assists per game. His best performance in the 2017 season came in round 16 when the Eagles destroyed the Corio Bay Stingrays 103-68. Sam himself netted 21 points at an incredible 75%, 3 rebounds and an impressive 6 assists.

Sam is excited for the challenge of what the SEABL competition will bring.

“Being at the Eagles for the past 9 years, I’m excited and grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of Diamond Valley Basketball’s next big journey in SEABL.” Reynolds said. “On the court I look forward to bringing a spark and creativity to the team on both ends of the floor and playing my role in the team to the best of my ability.”

Head Coach of the SEABL men, Grant Wallace, is equally as excited for the Eagle to return to the nest.

“Sam provides us with an experienced athletic guard, who will be able to test his skills against the best guards in the SEABL.  Further as a long term member of the Eagles senior men, Sam will provide our younger team members with the required leadership and work ethic as we start on the exciting SEABL path!”

Sam and the Eagles need your support. General Memberships are now on sale with memberships starting for as little at $10! Follow the link below to sign up as we #Flyasone into 2018.
