Eltham North Jets Join the SEABL Eagles
The DVBA is proud to announce the Eltham North Jets as the newest member of the SEABL Eagles program.
As one of the largest clubs within the DVBA, the Eltham North Jets have had a long and proud history of producing high quality players and coaches. Last weekend at the Northern Junior Basketball League Grand Finals, the Eltham North Jets featured in an impressive 12 grand finals, taking home a massive 9 championships.
The Jets are always looking to invest in opportunities that exposes their players to a high standard of basketball. Earlier this year they partnered with the Melbourne Boomers WNBL program and now they have joined forces with the SEABL Eagles. Eltham North Jets members will be treated to a designated home game, a family pass to every home game, 14 courtside seats at 1 home game, 4 player visits to trainings by senior players, 2 seats in the Nest at 1 home, opportunities for their coaches to gain valuable knowledge and experience from the SEABL coaches and most importantly, a 3-game membership for every junior player in the Eltham North Jets Basketball Club.
President of the Eltham North Jets Stuart Callaghan is excited to support the SEABL Eagles.
“The Eltham North Jets are delighted to be a member of the SEABL Eagles program. The Eltham North Jets are one of the DVBA’s largest domestic clubs and this season we are extremely proud to have over 35 boys and girls playing representative basketball for the Diamond Valley Eagles. Becoming a member of the SEABL Eagles program will allow or members to be involved in great quality basketball every week and it will give our boys and girls a pathway to senior basketball as they get older. We are looking forward to the start of an exciting season!” Callaghan said.
CEO of the Diamond Valley Basketball Association is just as excited about the new signing.
“I’m really pleased to have the Eltham North Jets demonstrate their support for our SEABL Eagles and give their members the advantages that come with our Domestic Club memberships. A big thank you to Stu and the Eltham North committee for joining us on this exciting journey. Majority of our SEABL home games will be double headers which will provide excellent entertainment for all families.” Wignell said.
