The top three teams have locked in their finals birth; however final positions are still up for grabs in our last week of UCL!

7.05PM Redbacks 54 def. by St. Mary’s Sharks 71

 

4th spot on the ladder was up for grabs in this one, with the Sharks able to get a comfortable win over the Redbacks. The Sharks led for most of the game, pouring in points from beyond the 3 point line. The team was led by Daniel Girolami’s 30 points, including six 3 point makes. Peter Hayman dominated the inside, finishing with 17 points.

8.00PM The Splashers 53 def. by Greenhills 62

Neither team were able to miss finals, both groups know that this week is not the time to play your best basketball. The Beavers came out on top in this one, thanks to a dominant display by Jeremy Datson (24 points) and Adam Moore (23 points). The Splashers had a quiet night from the 3 point line for them, but still sit on top of the ladder. James Guley and Nic Uzelac both had 14 in the loss

8.55PM Uni Hill 75 def. No Big Deal 69

 

Uni Hill was able to lock in their finals spot with a tight win over No Big Deal. Uni Hill led for most of the game, but were only up by 4 points with around 3 minutes left in the game. A couple quick baskets to Uni Hill and they gained some breathing room and came up with a hard fought win. Josh Grubb led all scorers with 18 points, while Ethan Adamm and Ryan Starrett had 17 each for No Big Deal.
