The DVBA is pleased to announce the reappointment of Braden Cotter as the head coach of the Diamond Valley Youth League Men’s team for the 2018 season.

Cotter, with his first season as Head Coach completed, will be looking to exceed expectations in 2018.  With 9 new young athletes giving the opportunity to play Youth League in 2017, Cotter will continue his already successful development of our program and be looking to give plenty of opportunities to the future of our association.   

“I’m excited and humbled to be reappointed by Ross Wignell and the senior committee. I am really looking forward to working under SEABL Men’s coach Grant Wallace and helping Diamond Valley Juniors progress into SEABL players.”

Not only is Braden going to be coaching our Youth League Men’s team but he will also be overseeing the Under 18’s & 20’s program. Making more integration between the Junior and Senior Championship program, acting as a conduit for our Diamond Valley players to transition into the Youth League and SEABL competitions.

“Braden has become an integral part of our club very quickly since accepting an AC role with me 3 years ago. His willingness to help anywhere, learn and develop is very appealing to any club but his passion to teach the game has been a highlight for me.” Alan McAughtry, Director of Coaching of the Diamond Valley Basketball Association said.
