WELCOME ABOARD RAY SANDERS
Welcome aboard Ray Sanders!
We have some huge news coming out of the Diamond Valley camp as Ray Sanders joins our Senior Champ Men for 2017. Hailing from the University of Albany, the 6'4 guard was captain of his senior year and has played professionally in Finland for BC Nokia.
Senior Champ Men head coach Ross Moll adds, "Ray brings to our group a complete all round game. After an extensive search for this position I kept coming back to Ray when identifying our requirements. Offensively he has a variety of weapons, and from watching film and ability to adapt to what is needed on the day. Defensively he was All conference in college and has continued to take pride in this aspect of this game in Finland. He will also provide leadership and experience to our group. I really feel he complements our existing roster perfectly ."
It's fair to say that we cant wait to see Ray in action!
Don't forget, our VYCM & SCM are in action against the Australian Goannas Deaf Basketball team and the Ringwood hawks.
Tip off is from 6.10pm with a Gold coin entry, all proceeds are being donated to the Goannas as they seek international glory.
