Youth League Round 9 Preview
Our VYCW host Ringwood Saturday night before both teams head to Sandringham to play the Sabres on Sunday!
Victoria Youth Championship Women
Our VYCW have 2 games this weekend, firstly a home game against the top of the ladder, Ringwood Hawks! Having lost only once this season, the Hawks are full of confidence coming in to Saturday night. The Eagles were able to bounce back last week against the Hawthorn Magic and will look to defend the home court once again this season. Sunday will see the Eagles back up against a Sabres side that has one 4 straight. Ivana Vasiljevic will be hoping to continue her hot shooting after 2 big games last weekend.
Victorian Youth Championship Men
The VYCM are coming off an incredibly close loss to Hawthorn, where they were able to push the top side in the competition to overtime! This week they face the Sabres who are currently in 5th position, having won their last 3 games. The Sabres boast a roster full of size and athleticism, so the Eagles will need to be prepared for a physical match up this week. Look for Ben Barlow to have a big game, currently second in the team for scoring, he could explode at any time!
