ANOTHER EAGLE FLIES TO THE NEXT LEVEL

A driven player, Katie has worked hard to get an opportunity to test herself at the next level of competition and was announced on the SEABL website that Nunawading had selected the Eagles guard for the upcoming season.

“Katie has trained hard to get an opportunity to go to the next level of competition and has been rewarded with a roster position with the Spectres. It is a step up in competition and the strong women’s program at Nunawading will be a challenge but I know Katie, is goal oriented, very fit and hungry for the chance to prove and test herself in the strong SEABL competition.”

“Some may see it as a loss to the program and in a lot of ways it is, but Diamond Valley continues to be a place where players get developed, play minutes and get an opportunity to go to the next level of competition. We would have loved for Katie to stay and play again, but the opportunity was offered and Katie won a spot in the roster at the next level. It is a great result for Katie, Diamond Valley and Nunawading.”

“All at Diamond Valley wish Katie the best for her upcoming SEABL season.”
