DV EAGLES TAKE ON CHINA THIS SUNDAY
If you thought this weekend was exciting enough already with the Youth Final on Saturday night, Sunday we are in for an absolute treat.....
The visiting Shanghai Sports Institute from China will play the Eagles U/18 girls team this Sunday 28th July on court 1 at the Sports & Fitness Centre. Tip off will be 10.30am with warm ups & introductions to commence from 10.00am.
“This is a great opportunity for the club, coaches, referees and players to experience tough International competition in our own backyard “. The coaching line up will include Katie O’Neill, (18s ) Jacqui O’Neill (12s) and Lauren Ibbott (16s) with players from our 18 & 16 girls program taking part in this game.“
The strong Shanghai Institute team has been in Melbourne for over a week and has had some very good results, so we would love to see a packed stand for the game which will lead into the last round of games for our Senior Women & Men for season 2013.
