SEABL Round 4 Preview

This week both our SEABL teams will only have one game at home this Saturday night against Melbourne Tigers.

SEABL Women

The SEABL Women welcome back Lauren Scherf into the line-up ahead of their game this Saturday night against Melbourne Tigers. Both teams will be looking to continue their recent winning form, so expect an exciting and highly contested game. With Melbourne currently sitting in 5th position, the focus for our Eagles will be to shut down both Monique Conti (17 points per game, 8 rebounds per game) and Rebecca Cole (24 points per game). It will be exciting to see both Lauren Scherf (21 points & 14 rebounds per game) and Ezi Magbegor (10 points & 8 rebounds per game) on the court together for the first time this season.

SEABL Men

The SEABL Men will be hosting Melbourne Tigers this Saturday night in the second game of our doubleheader. The Tigers will be coming out to redeem themselves from last week after being defeated by 55 points last week to Kilsyth. Thomas Wilson will be the man to watch for the Tigers, averaging 22 points and 5 rebounds per game. Our men will be looking to find the same form they had in the 2nd and 3rd quarters against Dandenong, combining for 47 points compared to Dandenong’s 31 points. Mike Best & Joel Spear were spectacular last Sunday and will be looking to add to their hot form, combining for 49 points.
