Romsey netballers enjoyed an impressive win over Woodend/Hesket in A Grade netball action.
The Redbacks enjoyed a 55-goal win against a young opposition who is still making strides as an emerging team.
Romsey produced a solid four quarter performance led in the goal ring by Hope Evans with 58 goals. She was pleased with the win.
"It was nice to get some really good momentum, we've had a reasonably good start to the season," Evans told the Express.
"We needed to put a few plays in place that we've been working on and it turned out really well."
Evans spoke of how well the team is building around each other and the return of Danni Davidson has been a vital cog to the team moving forward under the guidance of former Australian mixed netballer and first year coach, Lena Way.
Way had a difficult task getting a team together at the start of the season, but should be pleased with the output of the girls who have registered five wins from eight starts.
