RDFNL Under 18 footballers was the only RDFNL team to taste success at Inverloch on Saturday.
The locals won the game in style by 77-points thanks to a 10-goal final term.
The win made up for the 97-point loss to Alberton back in 2014.
Alberton started the game strongly with a goal in the opening few minutes. It dominated general play but couldn't hit the scoreboard.
Macedon's Toby Sims was solid in the backline while Woodend/Hesket's Shane Lindsay was a work-horse in the midfield.
Liam Bianco kicked nine goals for Woodend/Hesket in round five of the RDFNL and looked dangerous again in the forward line.
RDFNL closed out the first term with some big goals. It went on a five-goal run either side of quarter-time to lead by three goals at half-time.
