2018 NSWOC Athlete Grant

The New South Wales Olympic Council (NSWOC) is pleased to announce the continuation of the Athlete Grant Program.

The NSWOC Athlete Grant is designed to provide financial assistance for junior sportsmen and women in New South Wales. The program aims to provide increased opportunities and assist with funding for the development of young, ‘up and coming’ NSW athletes. The program targets athletes that do not currently receive significant funding, whether from AIS, NSWIS, state or national sporting bodies or via individual sponsorships.

This year, the NSWOC will distribute Ten $1,500 cash grants to non-professional athletes who compete in sports on the Olympic Program and reside in New South Wales.
Applications are now open, for more information or to nominate an athlete please download the grant information here.

Applications close Wednesday, 28 March 2018 and the recipients will be announced at the NSWOC Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 18 April 2018.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
