Victorian School Girls Trials To Be Held In April

Trials for the 2010 Under 16 School Girls Victorian Team will be held on Saturday April 10 at Windy Hill (Napier St, Essendon) from 12-5pm. All Victorian girls who are turning 16 or under in 2010, and go to school, are eligible to try out for the team. The School Sport Australia National Australian Football Championships will be held in Perth from July 24 to 31.

Whilst you may never have played football in a team or at school, AFL Victoria and School Sport Victoria is wanting any girls who are passionate about their football, would like to meet new people and want to have fun to come along to the trials. If you know of someone who might be interested, let them know about the trials as well.

REGISTRATION

To register for the trials you will need to register online at the School Sport Victoria website. There is a $10 trial fee, which must be paid online when registering to attend the trials. Registrations close on Tuesday April 6.

WHAT TO BRING

Please bring your runners, football boots, mouthguards, shorts and t-shirt/football jumper, tracksuit top and pants.

Any further questions should be directed to AFL Victoria's Female Football Development Manager, Chyloe Kurdas (chyloe.kurdas@aflvic.com.au)

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
