Claremont hosting New Norfolk this week will be looking to consolidate their impressive performance from round one v Cygnet. The Eagles will be looking to regroup this week after going down at home to Lindisfarne.  Cygnet travel to Pembroke Park to take on Sorell which has not been a happy hunting ground for the Port in past seasons. Sorell had a solid start to the season with a strong victory against Brighton last week and will be keen to make it two in a row and a confidence booster early season.

Lindisfarne take on the Dodges Ferry Sharks at Campania as the Lindisfarne Oval is unavailable from the Clarence Council following the cricket season. This is a key match this round as Dodges will be keen to atone for a narrow first round loss at home to Hobart. Lindisfarne were very solid in defeating last seasons premiers New Norfolk at Boyer.

In the final match of the round Huonville Lions will have there first match of the season at home against the Brighton Robins. The Robins will be better for the match under their belt in round one.
