WOW - What a busy 3 months of Basketball we have had!
August saw the close of the 2018 NBL Season, U23 National Championships in Porirua and we welcomed Steven Adams and the Sports Pathways team to Palmy for his first ever Steven Adams High School Invitational, SOLD out Steven Adams Camp, and a very special opening of the awesome court at Raleigh Street Reserve in Awapuni.
September and October went by in a flash with rounding out the 2018 Winter Competitions and Representative season sending a great group of players and referees to the U13 Central Regional Championships. Before shifting the focus to the delivery of the Schick Premierships AA Zone 3 and the 2018 A & AA Schick Championships here in Palmerston North. (A full update on the Schick Cup, Premierships and Championships will be sent out next week)
Not to mention delivery of the Feilding 3x3 Primary Slam, Kiwi Hoops "Come and Try" Bounce series and a successful Kiwi Hoops Referee Beginners Course for over 35 Junior Referees!

SOLD OUT STEVEN ADAMS CAMP A HUGE SUCCESS
With over 550 kids in attendance, feedback from one of the experienced Steven Adams Camp Coaches was that our Volunteer Coaches co-ordinated by Stacey Lambert were amazing and the energy making it one of the best he had seen. Thank you to Steven, Sports Pathways and all of our amazing volunteers who made it happen!

BEGINNER REFEREE COURSE 23 SEPTEMBER 2018 - PNBHS
Run by Whanganui Referee Trainer Aimee-Jo Clarke with support from Ra Turia, Craig McEwan, Tess Petley and Sam McFadzen while Willie was away in the USA, 35 Junior Referees attended the successful Kiwi Hoops Beginners Referee Course at Palmerston North Boys High School.
