We invite you to attend the first ABSL Girls Got Game Development camps. This camp is targeted at the U15, U17, and U19 age groups for 2017 season. ABSL will be running our first Girls Got Game Camp from 14-16 Oct in Auckland. The objectives are:
- To provide a consistent and regularly monitored development programme for individual fundamentals – working with players and their network coach.
Daily schedule: Camp is located at Epsom Girls Grammar
Focus:
- Skills to work on daily – Shooting and individual defence
- Testing
- Strength and conditioning
- Pathway for future
To provide guidance, support and opportunities for athletes to obtain:
- Playing for NZ teams – Tall Ferns
- USA scholarships
- Playing in New Zealand
In 2017, ABSL has been fortunate to gain the support of various tours to USA for certain players to gain valuable experience and also provide players with an opportunity to be scouted by American coaches during the ‘LIVE’ period in July, we also have other opportunities to conduct tours to USA in December 2017 with our first girls’ team.
Can you please help us promote to any girls with the goal of playing in the USA on scholarship and playing for the Tall Ferns and New Zealand potentially.
