THREE Western Region Football League umpires have been selected to officiate AFL International Cup matches.
Field Umpires Paul O’Loughlin and Nicholas Van Schoten and Goal Umpire Vladimir Zetovic have been picked to participate in the championships.
The AFL International Cup sees 18 men’s teams and eight women’s teams from across the globe compete for the prestigious title.
The carnival is played every three years. No expatriates can play in the match. Teams comprise of amateurs who must be nationals of the country they are representing.

The AFL International Cup is running until August 19, with the men’s final to be played at the MCG as the curtain raiser to the Round 22 match between Collingwood and Geelong.
The women’s final will be played at Etihad Stadium before the Carlton and Hawthorn clash.
