First Grade Game Preview of Werribee Bears and Casey Warriors, Round 3.

After facing each other in the 2015 grand final, a first grade rematch will take place today between Werribee Bears and Casey Warriors.

In the 2015 grand final, Casey overcame a second half comeback and claimed the NRL Victoria First Grade Premiership winning 30-22.

Captain Dion Hita was named player of the match.

Victorious with eight points, Casey Warriors currently hold the title with all first grade teams contending.

It is fitting to mention Pride Petterson-Robati who received 2015 NRL Victoria player of the year has returned this season for Casey Warriors.

Last weekend, they won against Sunbury Tigers, 56-14 while Werribee Bears enter Saturday’s game off a bye.

In round one, Bears also won against Sunbury 58-10.

The gritting match will take place at Casey Fields in Cranbourne at 4:00pm.
