2018 NRL Victoria U15's Schoolboys Open Trials

The NRL Victoria/School Sport Victoria U15's Schoolboys Open Trials will be held on Sunday 4th March, 2018 at Casey Fields, Cranbourne East. 
9:00am - Registrations - players to get their name marked off at table
10:00am - Trials
All players are required to bring their own playing shorts, socks and boots. Jerseys will be provided. Players who need strapping are required to supply their own tape.
Selected players will be invited back on Sunday 18th March for a second trial. Venues and Times will be posted onto nrlvic.com.au and the NRL Victoria Facebook page.
Selection Criteria: (The full 2018 State Representative Player Selection Policy can be found at nrlvic.com.au) 
1. A player can trial for the U15's Schoolboys if they are turning 14 (2004) or 15 (2003) in 2018.
2. A player must register and play matches for a NRL Victoria club in 2018.
3. The player must be enrolled and attend a Victorian Secondary School. 

The levy to play in the U15's Schoolboys team if selected for the U15's National Championships in Mackay, QLD (Saturday 30th June - Friday 6th July) will be $1400. Please note, the U15's Schoolboys team will also compete at the Country Rugby League Championships in September and additional levies will be payable for these Championships. 
All players must submit a registration form by 5pm on Thursday 1st March. No nominations will be accepted on the day.
Any player who is currently injured or is unable to make the trial but still wants to be considered for selection must email Ryan Walker, NRL Victoria Pathways & Coaching Manager - rwalker@nrl.com.au by 5:00pm on Thursday 1st March. 
Please Note:
The NRL Victoria U14's Development Squad trials will be held in July leading into the Country Rugby League Championships in September, 2018. These trials will be open to all players aged 13 (2005) or 14 (2004) in 2018.
