FILM - Palau Reflect on the World Swimming Champs

Two swimmers from the World Championships in Barcelona reflect on their time at the competition.
Dirngulbai Moreyna Misech and Osisang Dibech Chilton, two swimmers from Palau, developed both their swimming skills and competition experience, having also enjoyed experiencing Spain and the Spanish ways of life.

Osisang Chilton broke her personal best by over 3 seconds in Women's 50m Backstroke Heat, with a time of 34.6 seconds. Then later in the week in the Women's 50m Butterfly she broke her second personal best of the week, slicing 1.23 seconds off her qualifying time with a time of 33.92 seconds.

Dirngulbai Misech swam in the Women's 50m Freestyle, finishing with a time of 30.22, just 0.09 outside of her qualifying time of 30.13 seconds. In the 100m Freestyle, Dirngulbai finished the race in 1 minute 9.46 seconds, but was a little disappointed with the result: "I was just a few hundredths of a second off my best. I was hoping for a little bit better."
