Members are to take note that following a recent SAF Executive and Committee meeting - a resolution was passed, effective immediately, stopping past practice of ordering ammunition for SAF members who do not shoot at the range on a regular basis, as this contravenes the condition of SAF's Duty Free concession.  Only ammunition used for regular weekly competition will be ordered, however this is subject to review on a case by case basis for  shooters who regularly use their specific firearm at the range but choose not to participate in the weekly competition. The process pertaining to "special orders" will require that SAF members formally lodge their requests in writing to the SAF Armorer, who in turn will submit the request to the SAF Executive for final approval. This strict control of ammunition purchase will ensure that the Shooting Association adheres to the terms and conditions laid out by the Ministry of Finance.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand.
