Both Sefa and Tafea Province had strong representation in this years Province of Origin Tournament with teams in all three divisions.  Six teams entered the Mens Division with Malapoa College representing Port Vila for the first time this year going into the final against the strong favourites Tafea Province, striving to retain the trophy for a second year running.  And it was Tafea again that showed their dominance in an emphatic display against a fastly improving Port Vila with a 5 goals to 2 thumping.

Both the Under 12 and Womens division was hotly contested with both divisions going down to the final game to decide the champion Province.  In the end Shefa Province took out the Under 12 division with a spirited effort.  The atmosphere around the ground was fantastic with plenty of support for all the pikininis a definate highlight of the day.  Tafea also edged out Shefa in the deciding match of the Womens Division 3 goals to 1.
