The Devonport Touch Association is once again running a school touch football roster for grades 3/4 (mixed), 5/6 (mixed), 7/8 boys 7/8 girls, 9/10 boys and 9/10 girls.

The roster starts on Thursday November 2nd with games commencing at either 3:30pm, 4:20pm or 5:10pm. This is a 9 round roster and it concludes on Thursday December 14. To get 9 games in our shortened term we have included two Monday games on November 27 and December 4. The school roster costs $50 per student.

Teams need to be nominated through the online process by schools by Wednesday, September 27. Players can register at these links:

Primary school players

High school players

Select "Register a new person" and click Continue.

Primary school players can register and pay online or at the registration day on September 21. High school players need only to register. All High schools players will need a team code off their sports coordinator and will need to pay when they register.

Players will be placed into teams by us according to team lists provided by schools. We can allocate players if the school doesn’t have enough players for a team, please let us know if that is the case. Teams are required to have an adult to supervise them.

Uniform: Students will need to wear suitable clothing (normally school sports uniform) and sports shoes. It is preferable if playing tops have numbers on the back so referees can talk to players during the games. Iron on numbers are available for purchase in our clubrooms if needed.

Referees are provided but if schools have parents or students that are interested in refereeing or learning to referee please let us know.

Contact us on contact@dta.asn.au if you have any questions.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
