PISSA GAME 2014

Six school team from Ambae, three from Pentecost and one from Maevo, including total of ten school participate on that event.

Basketball competition was slowly improve compare to the past yaer and till this year 11 August 2014 the competition level came to show that players a show there potential in the competition to fight for there victory. Two hundred two players were involved playing basketball in this competition. Gambule three time champion of pissa basketball junior boys secondary team represent of maevo came with there best to win APCOLL school team from Ambae in the final with are score of 35 - 15 and APCOLL came to be second place folow by third place was LMC secondary school from Pentecost win SPC from Ambae secondary school by 20-13.  This local event bring three thousand people come to watch and also support there kids while the competition was played. Deputy Primary minister Hon - Ham Lini was there too on that event, and given his speech to support sport to develop in PENAMA PROVINCE, and a word of engouragement from kids to play sport and stay away from drugs and also stay safe healthy life for the future. Cummunity of Pissa game was very brought to see people came from Port Vila, Luganville and member of goverment to be part of Pissa game.

For the junior girls, Gambule maintain his position in first place by winning LMC second place with are score of 29-19 folow by SPC win Tagaga to become thrid in junior girls basketball team.

The next Pissa will be on 10 August 2015and host by Gambule secondary school in maevo, and don't miss that event, come and see the islander basketball players were playing there best in the competition and all support with the bright of sport to develop in our country as vanuatu.
