IP&E ABL resumes this week

Basketball action resumes this week with the IP&E Amateur Basketball League at the Palau National gym.

League officials stated that games were supposed to resume last week after the electricity was restored in Koror due to the aftermath of typhoon Bopha. But league officials decided to move the resumption of the games this week to give time to players to attend to their families and relatives who were severely affected by the typhoon.

Games tonight will feature Ididers against Bullets at 6 p.m. as Melekeok Salty Boys will meet Meda at 7:30 p.m. while Aimeliik Rainers will test Mercury Optimax in the night cap at 9 p.m.

Tomorrow night’s games will have Blue Shark against WCC Hammers at 6 p.m. followed by the Ksau Imaging Solutions-Papago Smooth tussle at 7:30 p.m. as Airwaves will face PCC Mesekiu in the main game at 9 p.m.

Thursday night will have Breakers versus Stingers at 6 p.m. as Mesang Red Storm will test the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. while Melwert will face Mercury Optimax in the night cap at 9 p.m.

Games that were rescheduled will be played towards the end of the elimination round. The tournament is a tobacco, alcohol and drug free program and all violators will be banned from participating.
