RAIWAQA RESPONDS

Women's teams and players are requested to advise their names to the new committee this week and hopefully the women can start playing next weekend.

The men continued on Saturday with many close games.  With the addition of the portable score board and loud speaker system, the games have taken on a more professional look.

With music in between play the atmosphere is really ALIVE!

The loud messages ensure that eveyone is much better informed and teams get their team lists in much quicker.

The crowd continue to turn up and watch, as is traditional at Ed's Court, from the footpath and bank above the court.   A brief shower on Saturday had them scurrying for shelter, but soon they were back up high to cheer on their teams.

The players from the National Youth Men's squad show the benefit of being in the program this past year as many are the outstanding players for their teams.
