Two National Team Members Break High Records

At the end of this years IIAAG Track & Field season, two members of the National team shined as they broke several high school records.  John Aquino showed dominance in the distance events as he won both the 1500m and 3000m.  During the season, he broked the 3000m record twice with a time of 9:20.  Naomi Blaz also dominated several events but broke two records at the last meet of her high school career.  She broke the 400m record with a time of 60.26 and the 300m Hurdle with a time of 47.26.

The Guam Track & Field Association exists to:

  1. Develop the framework for athletes to participate competitively at international and regional events.
  2. Promote the development of new athletes through local, developmental, and regional events.
  3. Assist in the development of coaching expertise on Guam to raise the performance level of Athletics.
  4. Develop officiating in the sport of Track & Field to maintain expertise for professionally managed track, cross-country, and road race events.
