Club Working Bee-Another Day of Success

The annual club working bee was yet again another tremendous success this year, with over 100 people taking part in the event. Many fancy renovations and cleaning efforts took place, making the club look sparkly and well organised, ready for another sailing season which starts up this coming September. Transformations were made possible due to the commendable cooperation of many club members, friends and family. The Junior Section took action cleaning the inside of the boat shed out, laser section helped tidy the beach, yacht section helped out with the garden area and etchell sailors helped tidy up the sail area. A special thanks goes out to the Rivers family for provision of many machines to help with the garden/pavement areas, Greg Lowe for putting in many hard-working efforts in the garden area and G Cook for all the efforts put in with the Sandstone renovations. Thankyou everyone who helped out! We hope you had a wonderful day! See the short sum up of the event below-

The working bee,
no-one flee!
Why would we, we all love to see

Great efforts from all
no-matter the fall

We worked as a team,
and buoy were we keen!

New gardens galore!
Pavements, and much more

Sweep, sweep, sweep,
no-one cheat!

The sun is out, sails sway
it’s time to hit the water
for another glamourous day

but first have a bite
g’day ‘hello mate’

A sausage sanga
and a cold beverage in my hand

Woah, what a day!
Thanks mate, you know-
the club now looks better than okay!
