The QCYC weather station went live on 15th November 2016
Over 110 members and guests enjoyed a Prawn and Oyster lunch at the Clubhouse on New Year's Day and raised almost $1200 for Cottage by the Sea.

Special thanks go to Judy Hodgkins and her helpers for once more so efficiently organising this important day in the Club's calendar. This was Judy's third P and O at the helm - sadly she will be handing over the reins to a new organiser so that she can enjoy New Year 2019 herself. Thank you Judy.
The drawing of the raffle is a highlight on New Year's Day and both Hugo Armstrong and MC for the day, Bill Stubbs, kept everyone in order with each and every prizewinner getting a rousing cheer. Hugo had organised an incredible list of raffle prizes and the Club is very grateful to all those businesses and individuals who made such generous donations. Thanks also to Ruby Armstrong and her friend who did a sterling job of selling raffle tickets, and to Ruth Jacobsen for encouraging us to part with our money for such a worthwhile cause. Almost $1200 was raised for Cottage by the Sea.
Thanks also to all those who helped set up and clean away, and to everyone for attending. A great day.
