The practice of asking members intending to visit QCYC to notify the club in advance of busy periods has been very useful in organising berthing alongside the wharf.

To simplify the process we have created a new email address and ask that members intending to visit the club at busy times, especially the Easter weekend, send an email to giving an ETA and their boat name and details (length, draft and beam). The email will automatically be forwarded to QCYC Committee members or the OOD responsible for berthing at the time of your arrival.

Numerical markers have also been placed at regular intervals along the wharf, allowing the OOD or other club members to provide a clearer indication of vacant berthing spots for incoming vessels.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
