Congratulations to NS UIC James

Congratulations to North Shore's Umpire in Chief James Townsend on the achievement of Level 5 National Umpire Accreditation at recent Nationals in Sydney. It was a tough tournament to gain accreditation with so many washed out games but of note is the record James achieved of having the longest running plate for a candidate of 81 hours 10 mins to finally complete his first plate of the tournament which was suspended on Day 2 in the top of the 5th and completed on Day 5.

This is a great achievement for James and North Shore umpires will benefit from the experience he has gained.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
