Its very rewarding and makes you a better all round power boat operator.
HHSC is hosting a Sailing Australia Dinghy Assistant Instructor Course
on Saturday 8th April 2017. A great chance for club members to get qualified and start helping our next generation of sailors to learn to sail.
RIP Hugh Mason died 23rd December 2016. Hugh was one of our life members. Very active in the Mirror class and a selfless contributor to the club. His painting of the club and members still resides in the foyer.more

Your Sailing Committee, in light of several recent sightings near our sailing waters, has developed and published a Procedure in event of a shark sighting near our waters during sailing operations. Please familiarise yourself with these procedures. Its about driving appropriate awareness and having a pragmatic plan in place for our operations teams.more
The committee has decided to invest in the safety of our members and community by acquiring a defribulator. We hope we'll never need it, but its there just in case. In fact there has been more members trained and certified in first aid for the rescue boats, and all the rescue boats have had their safety equipment upgraded during the off season. We look forward to a very busy and safe season.more
