Jacques Boucheron has played in France.

Boucheron was with the New Caledonia national team for the 2011 South Pacific Games, going 7 for 21 with two doubles, two walks, a hit-by-pitch, five runs, two RBI and five steals in six tries, though he fielded only .808 (5 errors). He was 0-1 with a 4.50 ERA as a pitcher. He tied for second in the event in swipes.

He then played for the Templiers de Sénart in French Division I. In the 2014 European Cup, he went 5 for 17 with a double, triple, run, two walks, hit-by-pitch, five RBI and no errors. He led the team in RBI and was second to Florian Peyrichou in OPS. For the event, he tied Gianison Boekhoudt, Christopher Howard, Stijn van der Meer and Urving Kemp for 6th in RBI. He hit .272/.339/.350 for the Templiers in the 2014 Division I regular season, stealing 8 bases in 14 tries, fielding .983 and going 1-1 with a 7.36 ERA as a pitcher. He tied for 4th in the league with 26 RBI, tied for 10th in steals, led in caught stealing and tied for first with five double-play grounders. In the finals, he went 4 for 10 with a walk, two runs and a RBI to help the club win its first title.

Boucheron then made the French national team for the 2014 European Championship; he was not the first New Caledonian to make the team, as Philippe Lecourieux had been with the French squad in 2007.
