Sudirman Cup: NZ beat Turkey and Sri Lanka

New Zealand have won their second successive tie at the Sudirman Cup world mixed team badminton championships in Malaysia after a 3-2 win over Turkey last night.

The brother and sister pairing of Oliver and Susannah Leydon-Davis [pictured] remain unbeaten after they took out the deciding match yesterday. 

Oliver and his men’s doubles partner Kevin Dennerly-Minturn are also undefeated. After losing their opening tie 3-2 to the Philippines on Sunday, New Zealand rebounded to beat Sri Lanka 3-2 on Monday. 

The Kiwis have a rest day today before taking on Ukraine tomorrow in their Level 3 Group A competition.
