John Mowat, Hockey Australia's Education Manager, was the key presenter along with Todd Kitto, Chris Leslie and Lincoln Churchill. Twenty participants, mainly from New Zealand attended together with the Development Officers from Fiji, Tonga and Vanuatu.

The course was mainly practical with the participants receiving an excellent package of resources put together by Jack Clayton (Hockey New Zealand) and Gill Gemming (Oceania Hockey Federation).

To gain the full FIH accreditation the participants needed to have completed the FIH online 'Start Hockey' and 'Start Hockey Coaching' Programmes. The feed back from all the participants was that it was a very positive worthwhile training experience.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
