Expansion Update - September
The Willetton Basketball Association stadium expansion project has entered our 9th month of construction and at present the contractor in Crothers Constructions has the project approx 70% completed.
The new hall is very well advanced with games looking to be played in there later this year, the new timber flooring has been laid and as you will see in the picture our new retractable grandstands for the show court are being installed currently, next phase is the installation of the sporting equipment and rings.
The works on the western side of the building are now in full swing and this will encompass the entry, cafe, function room and office/meeting rooms of the new stadium with the last stage being the refurbishment of the current playing hall.
The project remains on track as per initial timelines with completion still due for around the January 2020 period.
