ADFA Rams have capped off a tremendous season by winning the Division 2 Premiership by just 7 points in a thriller on Sunday afternoon.

The first AFL Canberra Grand Final ever to be played under lights, the Rams fought off a strong ANU outfit to claim the title.
It wasn’t a strong start for the Rams who trailed by 14 points midway through the second quarter.
They managed to bounce back though and the game came down to the wire.
Only one goal separated the two sides with just four minutes remaining, causing many held breathes and edge of your seat anticipation.
However ADFA managed to stop ANU from hitting the lead, and celebrated wildly as the siren sounded.
A strong crowd gathered to cheer on the two sides, with ANU followers a plenty given they were also involved in two other deciders during the big day of finals action.
ADFA’s Hayden Duczek was award the best on ground honours from the umpires at the after match presentations.
Earlier, ANU were able to overrun Yass in the Division 3 Grand Final by 55, the biggest margin of the day.
It was the only win out of three for ANU, whose Women’s Division 2 side lost by only ten points to Queanbeyan earlier in the day.
Timothy Vickers-Willis from ANU was awarded best on ground.
