Plenty of Skiff action on Belmont Bay on Sunday with 3 races,

The Flying 11 sailors had a great time racing in the skiffs in the morning. The future Skiff Sailors handled the bigger boats very well. Sophie Pilgrim grabbed the win on Minder after a close tussle.

1st – Minder – Sophie Pilgrim

2nd – Redicrete – Jacinta Anderson

3rd – TJS – Luke Sullivan

The Handicap start race had Tooheys Extra Dry put in a great performance to get the win. Newcastle Psychiatry also did really well. Blacksmiths Family Meats usually do very well in tricky, shifty conditions and Sunday was no different as they put together a terrific race to round out the podium on handicap and take the fastest time.

2nd – Newcastle Psychiatry – Bethany, Mick & Matthew

3rd – Blacksmiths Family Meats – Sheldo, Gaz & Craig

Scratch

1st - Blacksmiths Family Meats – Sheldo, Gaz & Craig

2nd - Tooheys Extra Dry – Caitlin, Jason & Dante

3rd – Hahn Super Dry – Trev, Showy & Steendog

In the Scratch start race Redicrete jumped away early and went on to take the win. East Coast Marine & Sail have been showing great speed through the water recently and that continued as they took 2nd spot. Pepsi Max put together another great race to round out the podium.
