Sail Melbourne - great results for B16ftSC!

The ISAF Sailing World Cup at Sail Melbourne finished on the weekend with B16ftSC sailors posting some great results in the top level international competition.

Nina Long & Corey Hamilton took 1st place in the 49erFX Open championship and were clearly the top boat in the fleet with mostly 1st & 2nds in their scorecard.

Harry Price & Harry Morton have made an excellent start to their 49er campaign, placing 10th in the Olympic level fleet.  Nathan Outteridge & Iain Jensen took out first place.  Harry & Harry were the fourth Australian crew (despite coping a BFD & and UFD).

Emma Knighton, sailing with Phoebe Freeman placed 8th in the 49er Women fleet.

Our 29er crew of Harry Lawson & Simon Hoffman sailed an excellent series with good consistent results including a race win.  They only missed 3rd place on a countback.

BFD - Black Flag Disqualification
UFD - U Flag penalty
