Western Suburbs recruit former Port Adelaide player for 2017


The Western Suburbs Magpies announced overnight their first recruit for the 2017 season with former Port Adelaide player Nick Salter for the 2017 Season.

 

Nick Salter was picked in the 2007 Rookie Draft and played 21 games for Port Adelaide in 6 seasons with the club.

 

After being delisted from Port Adelaide Nick moved to Canberra to play in the NEAFL competition for Ainslie where he played 36 games and kicked 99 goals.

 

Ainslie then dropped out of the NEAFL competition and played in the AFL Canberra 1st Grade competition where they won the Grand final against Queanbeyan. Nick played 17 games and kicked 85 goals.
