The Camden Cats are seeking expressions of interest for 2017

The Camden Cats Senior Australian Football Club is seeking expressions of interest for the following positions for the 2017 season.


  • First Grade Coaches
  • Reserve Grade Coaches
  • Third Grade Coaches
  • Under 19’s Coaches
  • Team mangers for all grades

The Club is based at Fairfax Oval Harrington Park in the Camden municipality which is one of the fastest growing areas in NSW. The Camden Cats are the premier club in the Macarthur area having won the Div. 2 premiership, a grand finalist in Div. 4 and second in the club championship in 2016.  We have a club culture that is inclusive of all abilities and is based around our mantra of “Pride, Passion and Respect”.   


The successful applicants will need to have a track record of developing younger and inexperienced players.Ideally all applicants for coaching positions need to have the ability to work closely together and with the Committee in a team environment that includes training, selections and discipline. The successful applicants must have a strong understanding of modern strategies and tactics of AFL and have the ability to teach these strategies and tactics through game based scenarios. Successful applicants would be required to bring a positive outlook and be hands on with coaching.

The coaching staff are also responsible for assisting in developing our relationship with the Camden Junior AFL coaching staff.
