Love football? Need a double dose?

Get to nib Stadium this Saturday night and witness the best WA has to offer with a serving of Hyundai A-League football and a sweet dessert in the battle for the QBE Night Series trophy.

At 6.40pm, Glory will aim to cement their position in the top six against the Central Coast Mariners before Bayswater City and Stirling Lions go head-to-head for the first piece of silverware of the local season.

On a big football night, former Australian youth international Dylan Tombides will be remembered as the DT38 Foundation continues raising awareness around testicular cancer.

Bayswater and Stirling were involved in semi-finals that had it all last weekend – including 12 goals, red cards and high drama.

Nib Stadium is not unfamiliar to players on both sides with Bayswater’s Jamie Coyne, Todd Howarth, Sam Mitchinson, Hayden Doyle and Andrija Jukic and Stirling’s David Micevski having had spells in the A-League.

And Glory coach Kenny Lowe has fired up his side, which is packed with local talents such as Dino Djulbic, Shane Lowry, Alex Grant, Aryn Williams, Josh Risdon, Richard Garcia and Mitch Oxborrow, not to mention the imported talents of Diego Castro, Nebojsa Marinkovic and Andy Keogh.

The Mariners, of course, have former Liverpool midfielder Luis Garcia in their ranks to sprinkle additional sparkle on proceedings.

Don’t miss your chance to support local football and Perth Glory without changing seats.
