New Highlights Show launched
Football West today launched the first episode of its new National Premier Leagues WA Highlights Show, featuring the best action from the weekend’s inaugural round.
Cockburn City midfielder David Araya’s historic first NPL WA goal has prime position on the first weekly show, which is available on Football West’s YouTube channel.
Araya delivered an early contender for the Goal of the Season when fired home a long-range strike just seven minutes into Cockburn’s 3-3 draw with ECU Joondalup at ECU Sports Ground.
All 15 goals from six venues across the metropolitan area were captured by the cameras, while an outrageous halfway effort from Floreat Athena’s Ludo Boi and a brilliant double-save from Stirling Lions’ Aleks Vrteski also make the highlights reel.
The NPL WA Highlights Show will be uploaded weekly and aims to show the goals, saves and best action from the state’s top football competition.
