The upcoming Round 10 sees two hungry opponents in Modbury Jets and South Adelaide go head-to-head for three vital points in the PlayStation 4 National Premier League South Australia on Saturday.

Off the back of two impressive victories away from home, Modbury will look to continue their good work as they welcome the bottom side from the South.

Jets left-back Michael Costantini believes recent form is a major boost coming into this weekend’s match-up.

“I think it’s very convenient because now two wins in a row the boys are believing in the game plan. Also helps when you get points on the broad it shows that you are going in the right direction”

The man who will help orchestrate the resistance, South Adelaide’s central midfielder, Johnny Moore remains fearless of the impending threat Modbury harness.

“In my opinion we have got to beat everyone and our group will be high off confidence. A lot of the teams we can beat on our day and we’ll be looking forward to the challenge”

As the Panthers journey out of their comfort zone and into the realm of Jet Park, Moore hints that the objective is to make themselves a handful in hope of delivering a few crucial blows.

“We won’t change the style of play and go out attack minded. We’ll let the opposition worry about us. A few players are shaking off injuries so well have a fit, strong team to go in for the win”

Costantini shares mutual feelings over the fixture ground and is also prepared for the tussle.

“They would want to play at home but it won’t mean too much. They be believe they can win because it’s a fight at the bottom and will want it as much as we do”

The defender believes there’s been a great turn around and highlighted the fact they’ve tightened up at the back in the last three or so games.

To get the three points however, Moore knows it will be a difficult to out-play Modbury and claims it’s important the team works together as a unit and create a decent advantage without conceding.

“Most teams are always susceptible on the counter-attack and we’ll look to hit them on the break, so hopefully we can get them.

“That second goal will be very important to kill them off and be hard to break down in order to get the clean sheet”

Both players and teams know how important this game will be and it could have say on who breaks away from the bottom in order to chase the leading pack.

“A win against South Adelaide would be massive. It’ll push us away from them and will keep us in touch with the teams who are fighting for the top six,” said Costantini.

“[A win] will bring us back into contention. It’s a big game for us as we are just a win away from them. A draw won’t be good for us so we’re going for all three,” said Moore.
