Adelaide Cobras Tribute Match
Following consultation with the family and senior players, the Round 11 SA NPL State League match between Adelaide Cobras and Adelaide Olympic will signify the hard work and commitment Adelaide Cobra’s late President Andre Lambropoulos put into the club.
Current Adelaide Cobras President Michael Malandris commented on the character of Andre Lambropoulos
“Andre was a man of integrity, a rare individual who had the ability to touch everyone around him. His enduring character and deep understanding about the needs of others was well respected throughout the club and the football community.
“He made an immediate and remarkable impact upon the senior playing group, as he did towards many people in his personal life.
“I would like to thank Adelaide Olympic Football Club for being part of the proceedings and will be wearing arm bands to acknowledge Andre.”
Adelaide Cobras would like to thank the family for allowing them to honour Andre’s memory and being part of the proceedings. Peter Ziatas, Andre’s nephew will toss the coin at the commencement of the game.
Adelaide Cobras extends an invitation to the Football Family as we all those who knew Andre, to attend the match and show their respects.
