“We are going to treat this game like every other and hope for the best” said Marchioro.

The Knights bring in a number of changes to their 2015 squad with Sherwin Emmanuel formerly of Raiders, Yuto Nagai of HBO Toyko, Ben De Bono of Playford Patriots, Foti Likouris of Adelaide Cobras and Nick Guglielmucci of Western Toros all now at The Paddocks.

Comets have brought in Patrick Deruvo from Adelaide City, Thibault Desclaux of Jullian & Orlei France and promoted Theo Balomenos, Arturo Garuccio and Jakob Loechel from the 2014 Reserves side.

It has been a while since the two teams last met on the pitch, but Comets Captain, Stephen Warner told that looking at the upcoming season, his side aims to main a prominent position on the ladder.

“Not much has been changed with our training but we are hoping to improve and move higher up on the ladder.”
