Much needed points are up for grabs as Para Hills Knights look to knock off another big side when they welcome Adelaide Blue Eagles to The Paddocks on Saturday afternoon in Round 22 of the PlayStation 4 National Premier League South Australia.

Knights man Tyler Bailey says his side have been preparing for a big game against Blue Eagles.

“We know they’re in good form at the moment, up there at the top so it will be a big test for us to try and back it up from last week’s good result.”

After getting the better of second placed West Adelaide in their last outing, Bailey believes it was just the result they needed to lift confidence.

“Last week we finally played to where we feel we should be playing all year in our potential so definitely full of confidence for this week’s game.”

Blue Eagles central midfielder Adam Harris is expecting the home side to put on a similar performance against them this weekend.

“With Para Hills it’s always going to be a tough game at The Paddocks. Even though they are sitting bottom they’ll be bouncing off a good result so we are expecting an athletic, natural affair.”

Bailey says the backline and midfield are key battles they need to win to come away with a decent result.

“With Kym Harris in good form at the top of the goal scoring charts we obviously need to win that battle with him and keep him quite. Also in the midfield, the game will be won and lost in there.”

The Blue Eagles front man has contributed to 18 of the 43 goals they’ve netted this season but brother Adam Harris believes it’s a not down to his individual form.

“It’s a team performance, we got plenty of fire power amongst the team that will be vital in the success it’s not down to one player.”

Although coming into the game as heavy favourites, Harris feels it will not put on more pressure on them to succeed.

“We know how important this game is we don’t put ourselves under any pressure. The three points nothing less this weekend because we want to stay in touch with the top four and its games like this you have to win.”
